NYTS Offering Interview With Former Wife of French President

By: E&P Staff The New York Times Syndicate is offering an Interview with Cecilia Sarkozy from the French newspaper L'Est Republicain.

This is reportedly the first interview Sarkozy gave since she and French President Nicolas Sarkozy divorced last month.

In the piece, Cecilia defends the mission to Libya she undertook to help win the freedom of imprisoned Bulgarian health workers and discusses the divorce.

"I am someone who likes the shadows, serenity, tranquility," she said. "France elected a man, not a couple."
