By: E&P Staff The publisher of The New York Observer is launching a new weekly newspaper on Sept. 15 dedicated to commercial real estate in New York.
The Commercial Observer will have a press run of 10,000 copies and will go to commercial real estate players and member of the Real Estate Board of New York for a subscription price of $240.

While coverage of both residential and commercial real estate has been a mainstay of the New York Observer, we began to recognize the need for a singular outlet for the commercial real estate industry in New York."
The new weekly will draw on talent writing about real estate and business issues at the New York Observer including Real Estate Editor Tom Acitelli; Dana Rubenstein, the commercial real estate reporter; and Eliot Brown, the economic development reporter.
The Commercial Observer will cover commercial real estate news, offer a compendium of real estate deals, and feature interviews and a profile of companies looking to lease space.
