OffTheBus Launches National Survey of Polls

By: E&P Staff The Huffington Post announced the launch of its "Polling Project" to survey the widely-used practice of polling in its OffTheBus feature.

OffTheBus and its media sponsors will ask their readers to share their polling experiences. OffTheBus will distribute the collected data among partners that will analyze and report on it.

In addition to the Center for Independent Media and Pollster.com , sponsors of the project include the following magazines and websites: WNYC Radio, The Nation, Politico, Talking Points Memo, Instapundit, Mother Jones, My Silver State , Blue Hampshire, Open Left, Concord Monitor, Pajamas Media, New West Notes, Winds of Change, Personal Democracy Forum and Blogher.

OffTheBus is a new journalism platform to cover the '08 presidential election, harnessing the web and the collaborative nature of new media.
