Ogden Newspapers Buys W.Va. Ad Mailer

By: E&P Staff Ogden Newspapers has acquired the Kanawha-Putnam Ad Mailer in Charleston, W.Va., from owner Bill Unger. Terms of the deal, brokered by Cribb & Associates, were not disclosed.

The 40-year-old publication is the area's largest local advertising source offering retail, grocery, auto, furniture, appliance, classified, restaurant, and entertainment ads.

Ogden Newspapers, based in Wheeling, W.Va., publishes 39 daily newspapers including The Intelligencer and Wheeling News-Register.
