Oliphant Sculptures Part of 'America's Presidents' Exhibit

By: E&P Staff The "America's Presidents" permanent exhibit at the National Portrait Gallery includes the work of some cartoonists, reports ComicsDC blogger Mike Rhode.

One of those creators is Universal Press Syndicate editorial cartoonist Pat Oliphant, whose whimsical sculptures of Lyndon Johnson, Jimmy Carter, Richard Nixon, and George H. W. Bush are part of the display.

The exhibit officially opens on July 1.
