One-Quarter of Top 100 Papers Now Use adInterax to Create and Track Rich-Media Web Ads

By: E&P Staff With the recent additions of the Chicago Sun-Times, the Star Tribune in Minneapolis, The Washington Times, The Oklahoman in Oklahoma City, the Times Union in Albany, N.Y., and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune to its client roster, adInterax announced Thursday that more than one-quarter of the nation's top 100 newspapers are using its software tools to create and track high-level ads such as videos, expandable banners, and floating ads.

"With our technology, publishers that serve local and regional advertisers are able to overcome the time and expense barriers traditionally associated with rich media advertising," Peter Matsuo, president and DEO of adInterax, said in a statement. "This translates into higher performance advertising inventory and ultimately more revenue for our partners."

The adInterax production and management suite is a leading rich-media authoring and measurement software that gives both advertising agencies and publishers the power to create, manage, serve, and measure online advertising. Along with simple design tools, adInterax provides tracking tools that measure and report all visitor interactions by capturing and analyzing the data numerically and graphically.

"When Yahoo! came to us with a video campaign, we had an easy time implementing their campaign creatively using adInterax," Alan Hicks, advertising and marketing director of The Oklahoman's NewsOK.com, said in a statement. "And partly because Yahoo! can learn in real time where visitors clicked on their ads, when they clicked, and which elements of the ad elicited the most clicks, Yahoo! extended the campaign for another season."

Other adInterax clients include Knight Ridder Digital, About.com, and several interactive advertising agencies.
