The Online Publishers Association, a trade organization representing high-quality online content brands, has named Noah Mallin vice president of marketing. Mallin, a seasoned digital strategist and organizational leader, will head the marketing team out of the OPA’s office in New York City, spearheading communications, outreach and innovation priorities.
“Having guided some of the biggest consumer brands and their engagement initiatives in the digital space, Noah brings a distinct perspective to the OPA and its mission to highlight the core role premium digital content brands play in the lives of consumers online," says Pam Horan, OPA president. "His knowledge of multi-platform brand development and the major issues facing all content-focused brands is a welcome resource.”
Prior to the OPA, Mallin was VP, group director social marketing at Digitas, where he led the social marketing practice in New York and was social lead for the American Express and General Motors accounts. He helped to pioneer ad optimization and targeting strategies on Facebook and Twitter, driving content-led strategy across digital marketing for the firm. Before joining Digitas in 2010, Mallin was at Interpublic’s Reprise Media agency, where he worked with clients ranging from Microsoft to L’Oréal Paris to Hyundai and established the firm’s social marketing practice.
