By: E&P Staff The Orange County Register in Santa Ana, Calif., has launched its new and improved automotive site, offering updates and new features on OCRegister.com/cars.
One improvement in the Web site's functionality is more specific search criteria for vehicle information. On the revamped homepage, vehicles may be searched by make, model, price range, year, manufacturer, local dealerships, new or previously-owned status, and type -- motorcyles, boats and recreational vehicles.
The Automotive News section, also on the homepage, features news, events and information from the automotive industry and includes relevant auto industry news stories from the Register?s print edition.
Two new blogs have also been added to the site. The "Auto Service" blog offers tips, tricks, and information on servicing vehicles, contributed by local service technicians. The "News from Motor City" blog includes car enthusiasts' perspectives on the latest releases and news from domestic car manufacturers.
"OCRegister.com/cars has significant improvements in navigation and depth of information, making it more useful for anyone researching, selling, buying or maintaining vehicles," said Gary Tackett, director of automotive and real estate advertising at Orange County Register Communications.
