Oregon's Mid-Valley Newspapers Promotes Draper to Operations Director

Lee Enterprises' Mid-Valley Newspapers, in Corvallis, Albany and Lebanon, Ore., has promoted Bill Draper to operations director.

With the group since 2000, when he started as information technology manager, Draper over the years assumed additional responsibility in the production area, where he now also oversees the press and packaging departments.

The president of the board of the Boys & Girls Club of Albany and vice chairman of the Albany Area Chamber of Commerce, Draper succeeds press and packaging manager Larry Thomas, who took a similar job with The Seattle Times.
