platform that allows publishers to create hyperlocal-focused pages with targeted advertising for their sites.
?Outside.in for Publishers is a scalable aggregation platform that gives publishers the tools to craft their own Neighborhood News Pages and to curate which content appears on their site,? CEO Mark Josephson said in a statement. ?There is a wealth of great hyperlocal content in their markets and Outside.in for Publishers makes it easy to connect with and organize the local blogosphere to create more pages and more inventory with less cost.?
Outside.in maintains a database of more than 30,000 hyperlocal content feeds from places like blogs, traditional media, and, social media sources like Twitter. The content is categorized by location.
Media General launched its Neighborhood News Pages using the OIP (Outside.in for Publishers) platform including in
Richmond and
Charlottesville, Va.
