'Palm Beach Post' Launches Car Site

By: The Palm Beach Post of West Palm Beach, Fla., recently launched a new car site on PalmBeachPost.com. The section is powered by the Cobalt Group of Seattle.

In a statement, the site's general manager, Dan E. Shorter, said the car section includes vehicle listings from local dealers and private parties in one database. Cobalt hosts the section and manages vehicle listings for participating dealers.

The Post automotive section is located at http://www.palmbeachclassifieds.com/auto.html.

Cobalt works mostly with car dealers and manufacturers, but the company previously built automotive sections for the Houston Chronicle and Austin American-Statesman. A Cobalt spokeswoman said the company is now marketing its services to newspapers and TV stations.
