By: E&P Staff The paperback version of author/columnist Anna Quindlen's fifth novel has been published.
"Rise and Shine," first released in hardcover last August, stars two sisters -- one who works for a women's shelter in the Bronx, N.Y., and the other a popular TV host whose career takes a sudden downturn.
Quindlen is the Pulitzer Prize-winning former New York Times Op-Ed columnist who now does a Newsweek column distributed by Universal Press Syndicate. She joined the Times in 1977 as a reporter and was named the paper's deputy metropolitan editor in 1983. Her commentary Pulitzer came in 1992.
