'Parade' Hires Account Managers, Media Services Agency

By: E&P Staff Parade has hired two account managers, Melinda Carson and Kathryn M. Herrick. Carson will be based in Parade's Los Angeles office, while Herrick will work out of Chicago.

Carson most recently worked in advertising and promotions at Us Weekly, where she focused on such categories as fashion and beauty. She also helped launch the magazine's Web site. Herrick joined Parade from Time Inc.'s Sports Illustrated.

The magazine also announced that is has contracted Detroit-based Hannigan Media Services to develop partnerships with GM, Ford and Chrysler.

"In this challenging economy, we believe it's more important than ever to invest in quality people," Mike DeBartolo, executive vice president of advertising for Parade, said in a statement.
