Parade Magazine named Randy Siegel publisher on Tuesday. He replaces Jack Griffin, who joins the Meredith Corp. as magazine group president, overseeing titles including
Ladies' Home Journal and
Traditional Home.
Siegel was named associate publisher at
Parade earlier this year, after serving as executive vice president and senior vice president of planning and development. He began working with the magazine in 1999 as a consultant.
In a press release,
Parade credits Siegel with "forging and solidifying long-term relationships with advertising and agency clients, as well as
Parade's newspaper partners."
Prior to joining
Parade, Siegel held marketing posts at
The Washington Post and
Newsweek, where he helped launch Newsweek Interactive and BrassRing.com, a joint job site from the Washington Post Co. and Tribune Co. Siegel also served as publisher and editor of the
Cleveland Free Times.
