LLC, joint operating agency of The Salt Lake Tribune and Deseret News, will license Minneapolis-based Publishing Business Systems' MediaPlus General Ledger, Budgeting, Project Accounting, Accounts Payable, Bank Book, Purchasing, Requisitions and Inventory Management financial- and materials-management software.

Development partner Software Business Systems worked with PBS. "SBS has a great deal of experience converting data from an existing system to PBS applications, which adds to our comfort level," NAC Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Rulon Hemingway said in announcing the deal. Hemingway headed the selection committee.
