'Peanuts' Fashion Exhibit Coming to Schulz Museum

Posted
By: E&P Staff An exhibit titled "Snoopy in Fashion" will start this Saturday and run through Nov. 9 at the Charles M. Schulz Museum in Santa Rosa, Calif.

The show features "Peanuts"-inspired clothing (sponsored by MetLife) "straight from the runway of New York City's September fashion week." The fashions -- which take their cues from not only Snoopy but other "Peanuts" characters -- were crafted by designers such as Isaac Mizrahi, Betsey Johnson, and Laura Bennett.

The fashions will be auctioned on eBay to support Dress for Success -- the nonprofit organization that provides workplace clothing, career help, and other services to disadvantaged women.

"Peanuts" reruns are syndicated by United Media.
