'Philadelphia Trib' to Publish First Newsstand Edition On Nov. 5

By: E&P Staff The Philadelphia Tribune is set to distribute a special newsstand edition of the paper on Wednesday, Nov. 5 carrying full coverage of the presidential election.

The paper is home-delivered five days, Tuesday through Friday and Sunday. Home subscribes will also receive the edition.

According to the Philadelphia Tribune, never before in its 125-year history has the paper published a newsstand edition.

"We have been the keepers of our history for over a century and found it incumbent upon us to dedicate our resources to reflecting this defining moment in the lives of African Americans and our nation," Robert Bogle, president and CEO, said in a statement.
