Plastic Logic to Introduce QUE E-Reader

By: E&P Staff Plastic Logic announced Monday that it will debut its new e-reader, QUE, at the Consumer Electronics Show, which kicks off Jan. 7 in Las Vegas.

QUE supports newspapers, magazines and books and is targeted to business professionals enabling users to view documents in Word, PDF, PowerPoint and Excel.

The e-reader is the size of an 8-by-11-inch sheet of paper and is less than one-third of an inch thick. It features a large touchscreen -- which Plastic Logic claims is the largest in the industry -- as well as a "shatterproof" display.

QUE connects via Wi-Fi and AT&T's 3G network.
