Pleasanton, Calif. 'Tri-Valley Herald' Names Editor

By: E&P Staff Bob Goll has been named editor of the Tri-Valley Herald in Pleasanton, Calif. He will start in his new position in mid-September.

Goll, 53, most recently was managing editor of the Herald. Before that he worked for the Oakland Tribune and Contra Costa Times, and served as editor of the Valley Times for nine years.

He succeeds Drew Voros, who becomes business editor of the Contra Costa (Calif.) Times. Prior to serving as editor of the Herald, he was business editor for ANG Newspapers for seven years.
