Press Release | Postmedia
Postmedia Network Inc. has announced the launch of NP in the
Montreal Gazette, a new daily print section, 6-10 pages in length, that brings together analysis, commentary and background on national and international news powered by the
National Post. “The addition of NP into our newspapers is another step in the continuous transformation of news led by Postmedia,” said Gord Fisher, President,
National Post. “Introducing NP in the
Montreal Gazette brings the power of the two brands together for Montrealers and, most importantly, for our loyal print subscribers.”
NP in the
Montreal Gazette provides a distinctly curated, beautifully designed package of
National Post content within the
Montreal Gazette and covers the major national and world news of the day, while also rounding up some of the best commentary and columnists including Christie Blatchford, Andrew Coyne, Robert Fulford and Michael Den Tandt.
Montreal Gazette is the third market to launch an NP section in its newspaper with the
Edmonton Journal and the
Windsor Star having launched earlier this fall as part of the pilot program.
“The inclusion of NP in the
Montreal Gazette gives our loyal readers an even more compelling print product, six days a week, with both local and national branded news from award-winning journalists,” said Lucinda Chodan, Editor,
Montreal Gazette.
