The issue has a southern-creators theme, and includes profiles of various syndicated comic cartoonists and editorial cartoonists from that region.
"Stay Tooned!" -- whose editor is John Read -- is billed as "the magazine for cartoonists, aspiring cartoonists, and fans of the art of cartooning." Its Web site is

Read has been a cartoonist, cartooning teacher, graphic designer, and film- and TV-production person.
