By: E&P Staff The Press-Enterprise in Riverside, Calif., has named Ginger Neal as its vice president/Interactive, the paper announced on Tuesday.
In the newly created position, Neal will look to expand the paper?s online presence by leading, developing, and executing the paper?s interactive strategy and operating plans, the Press-Enterprise reported.
Neal?s journalism career began at The Orange County (Calif.) Register, where she worked in marketing and business development. She was the CEO and president of MyOC.com from 2001 until 2003, where she was in charge of all electronic media assets. She then became general manager at the Automotive Information Center, based in Irvine, Calif., whose Web site offers comparison data on automobiles, said the Press-Enterprise.
In 2004, she opened Neal Associates, an organizational development consulting firm, reported the paper. Neal began her new role at the Press-Enterprise on Tuesday.
