By: E&P Staff Presteligence in North Canton, Ohio, recently sold solutions to The Post-Star, Glens Falls, N.Y., Owensboro, Ky., Messenger-Inquirer, The Intelligencer, Doylestown, Pa., Burlington County Times, Willingboro, N.J., Bucks County Courier Times, Levittown, Pa., Austin (Texas) American-Statesman, Erie (Pa.) Times-News and several New York Times Regional Media Group properties.

The Messenger-Inquirer implementation of Adinfinitum will allow remote sites to upload artwork and ads via the Web site as the paper consolidates ad production across Paxton Media properties, creating efficiencies within advertising and sales departments. Adinfinitum offers an entire suite of ad services, from insertion order to invoice. The portal lets advertisers upload ads or ad material, proof and approve ads, view tearsheets, request pick-up ads, and view and pay invoices online, saving newspapers postage, paper, and employee time.

For Calkins Media (Doylestown, Bucks County, and Burlington), Adinfinitum will deliver an ROI in less than nine months, according to Presteligence. The sites also will implement the My News...On the Go multimedia electronic edition. Subscribers may read the editions on computer screens and mobile devices or listen to virtual newscasters read stories.

Erie Times-News switched to Presteligence's e-edition from another vendor's to save money and staff time. It offers an e-edition as a value-added service to print subscriptions and as an electronic-only subscription option.

The New York Times Regional Media Group has standardized on Ink-Miser ink optimization after testing showed it would save more than 20% on their ink costs. The choice was partly attributed to achieving high color quality standards with Ink Miser's grey component replacement.
