By: E&P Staff Presteligence, North Canton, Ohio, named Dave Pendergraft and Brian Bailey as sales managers and Steven Paul as technical sales specialist.
Bailey returns to the company where he spent seven years at the start of his newspaper career and was part of the technical sales and marketing of Presteligence's flagship GUSS product. He now will work with customers east of the Mississippi River in the United States and Canada.
Earlier, in his seven years serving commercial printers as a computer-to-plate and prepress workflow sales representative for Heidelberg, Bailey helped more than 120 companies transition from film to CTP and from PostScript to PDF workflows.
Based in Carmichael, Calif., Pendergraft will oversee western U.S. sales. He spent 19 years in pre-press, from heatset and sheetfed operations to newspaper and open web facilities, and 15 years in sales support, system sales and sales management with companies such as Anitec, Autologic, Agfa and ProImage.
Paul works with customers and prospects to "understand their needs and help set realistic expectations from sale to installation," demonstrates products, provides feedback to the sales and product development teams, and bridges gaps between sales and service.
Most recently with Vio/AdSend, his 20 years in the graphic arts included managing TV Guide's film and plate production. At Creo/Kodak he served the commercial, packaging, and newspaper markets, but "learned to appreciate newspapers as the most fun and interesting," according to the company.
