By: A school district pulled an editorial in the school paper that was critical of a daily newspaper's coverage.
In its place, Mount Lebanon High School Principal Zeb Jansante allowed an editorial headlined "Editorial censored by administration" to run in the June edition of The Devil's Advocate.
The killed editorial dealt with the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette's coverage of a list circulated at the school that graded female students' body parts. The list led to the suspension of a male student and to staff and student training about sexual harassment.
The administration pulled the editorial "to protect the rights of a group of young women in the high school who are the victims of a list that has been highly publicized and widely circulated," district spokeswoman Cissy Bowman said in a statement released Tuesday.
