Prisco, manufacturer and distributor of pressroom coatings, chemicals and supplies, has announced the expansion of its manufacturing facility for pressroom coatings in Charlotte, N.C. The 50,000 square foot facility, opened in 2002, is designed specifically to manufacture coatings used in offset, flexographic and gravure printing processes. Prisco was prompted to make an additional investment in this state-of-art facility, increasing its manufacturing capacity by more than 40 percent, to better serve the high-volume segments of the industry.
Headquartered in Newark, NJ, Prisco has been serving customer for more than 100 years. Prisco product lines include environmentally friendly coatings, fountain solutions, solvents, cleaners and lubricants. The PriscoDigital division offers world-class digital printing systems from HP Scitex and Ricoh to commercial printers in the US. PriscoTech equipment systems include water management, chemical blending, chemical recycling and waste reduction systems. Printers' Service has 12 locations in the US, Canada, Europe and Australia to serve the industry.
