By: E&P Staff A U.S. District Court judge in New York City ruled that "Spider-Man" creator Stan Lee is entitled to 10% of profits from Marvel Enterprises' movie and TV productions since 1998, according to an Associated Press story.
Lee's Web-slinging cartoon character recently starred in a hugely successful live-action film and sequel.
The 82-year-old Lee is also the creator of "The Amazing Spider-Man" newspaper comic distributed by King Features Syndicate, and of characters such as the X-Men, the Incredible Hulk, the Fantastic Four, and Daredevil.
