Protec's Milenium cross-media solution offers an integrated platform that allows convergence, making it possible to manage in the same work environment all content and news resources, as well as different methods for preparing print and digital products while interacting with the company's remaining computer solutions. It also enables interactivity with readers -- a citizen-journalism strategy promoted by all group papers.
A multimedia group in Spain's general news sector, Vocento has almost a 25% market share, thanks to its 13 titles. The group of more than 120 companies also publishes general news supplements and niche magazines, is one of three main players in the audiovisual and entertainment sectors (including radio and TV) and has Internet operations.
