By: E&P Staff Publishing Group of America, which provides newspaper magazine supplements like American Profile and Relish, is offering its partners a weekly home improvement column called Be Jane.
Over 1,300 of the company's partners have access to the column for free. Heidi Baker and Eden Jarrin -- known as the "The Janes" and featured most recently on the "Today" Show -- write about tips, tricks, and project ideas.
"We are thrilled to be a partner with Be Jane," said Jerry Lyles, vice president of publisher relations of Publishing Group of America, in a statement. "The unique content provided by 'The Janes' of Be Jane is sure to change lives and inspire women to pick up a hammer and take on more home improvement projects."
Available since Oct. 8, a spokeswoman for Publishing Group of America said that so far 30 papers have downloaded the content, but it's unclear how many have actually run the columns.
Publishing Group of America offers other free content to its partners including crossword puzzles, sudoku, and prime time TV listings.
Based in Franklin, Tenn., the company distributes magazine supplements to more than 1,400 newspapers throughout the country with a combined circulation of 9 million.
