By: E&P Staff Publishing Group of America (PGA) has made several appointments to its executive ranks. Bob Brolund has been named COO and CFO of the Franklin, Tenn.-based company that publishes Relish and American Profile.

Brolund most recently served in the same capacity at Ocean Designs, an offshore oil and gas company known for designing underwater systems. Before that, he was CFO of Drexel Hertiage Furnishings.

"[Brolund's] breadth of experience and depth in financial management will be tremendous assets as we drive PGA to even higher levels of financial performance," PGA's CEO Dick Porter said in a statement.

Additionally, PGA promoted several executives. Charlie Cox is now senior vice president/editorial content. Jerry Lyles becomes senior vice president/publisher relations. Steven Minucci was promoted to senior vice president/business development. Greg Coble is now senior vice president/controller.

"Thanks to the hard work of people like Charlie, Jerry, Steve, and Greg, we have capitalized on that inherent strength to build both strong magazine brands and strong ties with local communities that will serve us well as launch even more titles over the next couple of years," Porter added.
