Publishing Group of America Names SVP/Chief Revenue Officer

By: E&P Staff Carol Campbell Boggs has been named senior vice president/chief revenue officer of Publishing Group of America. In this newly created role, Boggs will be responsible for corporate advertising sales, digital and event development.

Group Publisher Amy Chernoff and Associate Publisher/Direct Response Linda Rich report to Boggs.

Boggs was most recently involved with sales and marketing efforts for the launch of BettyConfidential.com (a Web site founded by Deborah Perry Piscione and Shaun Marsh with magazine editor Myrna Blyth serving as editor in chief). She was the founding publisher of Hallmark magazine and served as publisher of MORE magazine. She served as an associate publisher of Bon Appetit magazine.

Boggs added in a statement: "PGA media leverages a powerful base that no other media community taps: community newspapers that are thriving while big-market media struggle. PGA publishes newspaper supplements American Profile, Relish and Spry.
