ewspaper veteran Kevin R. Convey, a former editor-in-chief at the New York Daily News, has been named chair of the Department of Journalism.
Convey, of Brockton, Mass. and New York City, brings a wealth of experience to the post. He was a journalist for three decades, working his way up from reporter to editor-in-chief at the Boston Herald and then serving as editor-in-chief of the Daily News in New York.
