The parents of JonBenet Ramsey filed suit yesterday against the supermarket tabloid The Star, reported The Associated Press.
The parents charged the paper with libeling their 12-year-
old son Burke by publishing stories that claimed he was the prime suspect in JonBenet's murder.
The suit claims that stories published on May 25 and June 1 were false and defamatory, and subjected Burke to 'public hatred, contempt, and ridicule.'

The Star later retracted the stories, but parents John and Patsy Ramsey are still seeking $25 million in actual and punitive damages.
