By: E&P Staff Presteligence in North Canton, Ohio, has announced sales of its Adinfinitum, NewsXtreme, Blackmagic News Extra, and Xtreme Inking solutions to U.S. and overseas publishers.
The Lufkin (Texas) Daily News will use the Adinfinitum electronic tearsheet and invoice delivery solution to provide electronic proofs to display-ad customers, starting in July. It is the third Cox paper to purchase the solution.
Greater Northwest Publishing, Minot, N.D., and Light & Champion, Center, Texas, purchased NewsXtreme Lite through the Southern Lithoplate CTP Alliance to handle plate imposition, scheduling and soft proofing as they move to CTP.
The Marion (Ind.) Chronicle and the Herald-Palladium in St. Joseph, Mich., recently bought NewsXtreme for plate imposition, scheduling and soft proofing. The Herald-Palladium will use NewsXtreme's Plan Import feature to take in data automatically from its Managing Editor ALS to create product schedules. It plans to output hard copy from an HP proofer using Blackmagic News Extra software.
The Idaho Press Tribune in Nampa will use Blackmagic News Extra as a part of its prepress workflow through NewsXtreme.
The Journal News in White Plains, N.Y., the Altoona (Pa.) Mirror, the Warren (Ohio) Tribune Chronicle , and Venezuela's Diario Panorama have purchased Presteligence's Xtreme Inking ink presetting system. Presteligence will interface to their Goss press control systems and automatically transmit ink values to the press, according to the company.
