Report: Possible Suitors for 'San Diego Union-Tribune'

Randy Dotinga reports at the Voice of San Diego that four industry players -- including The New York Times and Tribune -- are poking around The San Diego Union-Tribune. The Copley Press put its flagship on the market back in July.

In these incredibly challenging times for metro newspapers, not to mention the virtual choke on worldwide credit, it's good to see there's still some activity among newspaper companies.
