Reporters Committee Warns of New Pressures Affecting Newsgathering

By: E&P Staff The Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press released a "White Paper" today outlining the impact on the free flow of information to the public of several new realities facing journalists -- such as advances in technology, changes in rules of discovery, and new judicial practices.

The release comes before today's House Judiciary Committee hearing on a proposed federal shield law.
