Reuters Book Includes More Than 500 Photographs

By: E&P Staff A book titled "Reuters -- The State of the World" will be released Oct. 16.

It includes 537 images (taken between 2000 and 2005) by 230 Reuters photographers from nearly 70 countries. Essays by Reuters correspondents accompany the pictures, which focus on war, terrorism, politics, poverty, show business, and many other topics.

The book will initially be available in seven languages.

Photos from the book will be displayed at various exhibitions around the world, including one at London's National Theatre from Oct. 16 to Dec. 2.
