'Richmond (Va.) Times-Dispatch' Names Three to New Positions

By: E&P Staff Todd Culbertson has been named to the new position of deputy editor of the editorial pages at the Richmond (Va.) Times-Dispatch.

Culbertson is a 29-year veteran of the Richmond Times-Dispatch and former Richmond News Leader. In his new capacity, he will managing the editorial department, write and edit editorials, and supervise letters, Op-Ed, and commentary columns.

Martin Rhodes has been appointed art/design director and editorial illustrator. A former news department staff artist, Rhodes joined the editorial department seven years ago. He will oversee layout and design and continue to develop graphics and illustration used on the editorial pages.

Ryan Frazier, who has been a Times-Dispatch editorial writer for nearly six years, has been promoted to commentary editor, overseeing the Sunday Commentary section. He succeeds Ann Merriman.
