Rockaway's Weekly Newspaper, The Wave, Ready for Comeback After Hurricane Sandy

The Wave is ready to come roaring back to Rockaway.

The beloved weekly newspaper, which has covered stories big and small on the peninsula for over 100 years, was nearly a casualty of Superstorm Sandy.

Staffers, who have been writing stories on the paper’s website and providing updates via a Twitter feed, are planning to publish their first post-storm newspaper this Friday.
