Roger Lynch leaves Condé Nast as Mike Perlis becomes interim CEO

Roger Lynch is stepping down as Condé Nast’s chief executive after seven and a half years to lead Mattel, he told employees in a published memo. Lead independent director Mike Perlis will serve as interim CEO while the board searches for a permanent successor.

Lynch will remain on Condé Nast’s board. In his message, he highlighted the company’s integration of its global operations and growth in commerce, digital subscriptions and events, illustrating the mix of businesses its next leader will inherit.
