Veteran media executive Rynni Henderson has been named publisher of theLas Cruces (N.M.) Sun-News. She also will oversee the Deming (N.M.) Headlight and Silver City (N.M.) Sun-News. Henderson most recently has been publisher of the Carlsbad (N.M.) Current-Argus. Henderson has almost 22 years of newspaper, magazine and digital media experience working in advertising, marketing and publishing, including positions as publisher of the Current-Argus; The Daily Journal of Commerce in Portland, Oregon; The Times of Acadiana in Lafayette, La.; and Florida Keys magazine in Key West, Fla. In addition, Henderson served as retail advertising director for Mid-Valley Newspapers in central Oregon and corporate sales development manager for Lee Enterprises.
