'Sacramento Bee' Names New Business Editor

By: E&P Staff The Sacramento Bee has appointed Wayne Davis to the position of business editor. He replaces Cathie Anderson, who was recently appointed features editor.

Davis previously was deputy business editor at the Bee, where he has worked for 23 years. He has also served as an editor, copy editor, and Elk Grove bureau chief, in addition to spending some time in the features department. Before joining the Bee, Davis worked for the Baltimore (Md.) News-American.

The Bee?s business section consists of six reporters and a columnist. Davis told the Sacramento Business Journal that he hopes to add another reporter very soon.

Sarah Lopez Williams succeeds Davis as deputy business editor, effective June 2. Williams previously was the paper's Features Editor/Lifestyle.
