Sacramento Press Looks to Hawaii Independent For a Model

Jared Goyette, editor of the Sacramento Press, is studying the Hawaii Independent, including its membership system, to find a model for his news site: "There's a lesson to be learned here. For the Sacramento Press to be viable, we need additional sources of consistent revenue beyond banner ads. A membership program could make a real difference."
