'San Diego Union-Tribune' Site to Expand Classified Ads Section

By: E&P Staff The San Diego Union-Tribune is planning to expand the range of online classified ads on its site SignOnSanDiego.com, using local classified ads search engine Oodle.

The newly expanded section will include sections for tickets, pets, merchandise, and services. The site has more than 35 million page views and 2.5 million users in a typical month.

"As San Diego's premier online source for local news, entertainment information and classifieds, it is important for SignOnSanDiego.com to provide our users the most comprehensive classified listings possible,? said Chris Jennewein, the paper's vice-president of Internet Operations in a statement. ?Oodle?s industry-leading classifieds search will be a major benefit to our users.?
