'San Francisco Chronicle' Debuts Redesign on Sunday

By: E&P Staff The San Francisco Chronicle is unveiling a new design of its print edition on Feb. 1.

Among the moves, the paper is combining its Wednesday Food section and Friday Wine section into one to be published on Sundays. Home & Garden is also moving to a Sunday publication date from Wednesday and Saturday.

For a limited time, the paper will print Sporting Green on green paper. The Chronicle is also introducing a new movies section to debut on Fridays.

Additionally the paper said in the summer it will introduce a "new color-packed layout."

This spring, commercial printer Transcontinental will begin printing the Chronicle and its related products.
