By: E&P Staff The New York Times said Thursday The Santa Fe New Mexican will start printing the paper in a few days, allowing it to extend daily and Sunday home delivery to the market.
With the addition of the Santa Fe site, The New York Times will be printed at 25 locations in North America. Times President and General Manager Scott Heekin-Canedy noted that this is the newspaper's third print site expansion so far in 2008. The Times previously began printing in Dallas in January and Philadelphia in March.
The Santa Fe New Mexican already prints 16 other commercial publications on its four-year-old KBA press.
"It's an honor to be part of the production effort of a great national newspaper," Robin McKinney Martin, publisher of the New Mexican, said in a statement.
