By: E&P Staff On Mother's Day this Sunday, mothers will be admitted free to the Charles M. Schulz Museum in Santa Rosa, Calif. -- and can see a film about four female comic creators.

The movie -- "Funny Ladies: A Portrait of Women Cartoonists" -- profiles Cathy Guisewite ("Cathy"/Universal Press Syndicate), Nicole Hollander ("Sylvia"/Tribune Media Services), Lynda Barry ("Ernie Pook's Comeek"), and the late Dale Messick ("Brenda Starr"/TMS).

Museum visitors can talk with the film's director, Pamela Beere Briggs, after the movie.

Reruns of the late Schulz's "Peanuts" comic are syndicated by United Media.
