Scott Howell Named Interim Editor of Lodi News-Sentinel

Scott Howell, sports editor for the Lodi News-Sentinel, has been named interim editor of the newspaper.   Howell has been with the News-Sentinel for 16 years, joining the paper after graduation from the University of South Carolina. Under his guidance, the News-Sentinel sports section has been recognized as among the best in the state among community dailies. The Sentinel has earned multiple awards for sportswriting and section design, and Howell has individually earned best sportswriting honors from the California Newspaper Publishers Association.
