Scripps Names Controller and Circ VP

By: E&P Staff E.W. Scripps has named Robin Davis controller for the newspaper division and Dell Campbell the division's new director of circulation operations.

Davis, 36, was most recently vice president and CFO of the former Pulitzer Newspapers Inc., where she was responsible for finance and human resources and oversaw the operations of two newspapers.

Davis replaces Bill Freeman, who is retiring after more than 30 years with the company.

Campbell, 63, was previously the first president and CEO of STL Distribution, which handles the distribution of numerous publications, including the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. Before that he was with The Kansas City Star, where he was vice president of operations.
