Second 'Stay Tooned!' Magazine Issue Is Out and About

Posted
By: Dave Astor The second issue of John Read's "Stay Tooned!" magazine has been published, and much of its content focuses on syndicated creators and their work.

For instance, there's a profile of Mike Peters (whose Dayton Daily News editorial cartoons and "Mother Goose and Grimm" comic are syndicated by King Features), a piece by Norm Feuti (who does the "Retail" comic for King), and a profile of Bill Day (editorial cartoonist for The Commercial Appeal of Memphis and United Media).

Also: a Q&A with Berkeley Breathed (who does the "Opus" comic for the Washington Post Writer Group), an interview with Jules Feiffer (formerly of The Village Voice and Universal Press Syndicate), a profile of Mason Mastroianni (who does the "B.C." comic for Creators Syndicate), and more.

In addition, there's the "Funnies Farrago" look at cartoon news by R.C. Harvey.

The magazine's Web site can be seen here.
